Ok, I've decided to go with what I had, possibly modify the blended texture a bit so that it doesn't have those open spaces. Then I'll add a Dragonscale chain mail belt. I dunno what to do with the wrist bands, since the uv map is hard to work with there.

Watched the Clone Wars ans was inspired to redo the armor.

Armor update

So much depth to it now. I like it a lot.
My only dislike is that it looks like iron, rather than a Star Wars type metal. It seems quite primitive.

Aside from that one nerdy issue, it's spec-freakin-tacular. :-)

I ran the yellow lines to the collar so it's more military-ish. Also since we're after the creation of the New Jedi Order, I added the NJO logo on the front.

Thats starting to look really good, although i always thought you were an imperial.

There were plenty of worn looking metal armors in SWG, Tzu. Don't really know where you're going with that one. My only complaint is that realistically, those shoulderpads arent designed to flex in a way that you could raise your arms properly. It's arranged as a millipede carapace, rather than with triangular pieces in flex points for more movement. Another way to do it would have been more cloth between segments.

Anyway, really looking great aestheticly

I think I need to add some more battle worn effects.

Edit: I was thinking about mobility too and was considering more cloth in between the shoulder pads and the torso piece. But, the uv map is a bit of a pain to with with so I think it looks good enough. I don't really think people will notice in game.

All I gotta say is thank goodness for Alpha channels. The texture on the gauntlets stretches in an odd way so I'll be fixing the grooves on that soon. But that's the general layout on those.
